My name is cat & I am your hampshire & surrey based photographer
I offer documentary wedding photography with gentle editorial direction. That means I'll quietly document your day as it naturally unfolds, stepping in only when a little guidance will help you feel comfortable or create something beautiful.
I’ve been a full-time wedding photographer for nearly 5 years, and I am now one of the most highly regarded Hampshire wedding photographers. My background in portrait and editorial photography uniquely places me to create stunning images with less intrusion, so you have more time to be in the moment.

I live in Fleet, Hampshire with my husband and two kids, I love going to the gym, reading and watching endless sci-fi and fantasy!

I love using flash photography to bring light, creativity, and fun into any scene, whether it’s capturing a vibrant dance floor or adding drama to a twilight portrait. Click here to learn more about how flash can transform your wedding photos.

If the idea of being stared at, posed, and forced into cheesy kisses gives you the ick, you’re not alone. Most couples I photograph feel a bit nervous about being in front of a camera. They just want to enjoy their day, look natural, and have someone capture it without making them feel like models on a magazine shoot they never auditioned for.

That’s where I come in. I don’t expect you to know what to do. I don’t want you “acting romantic.” And I’m not here to stage a fake version of your wedding. My job is to help you relax, blend into your day, and give you photos that actually look like you two, laughing, crying, hugging, dancing, messing up speeches, tripping over your dress and all the good stuff inbetween. (hopefully no one trips!)

Instead of turning your wedding into a photoshoot, I read the room and follow the energy. If there’s a moment that needs a little direction (like making sure you’re not standing next to a bin during portraits), I’ll step in quickly, keep it fun, and you’ll be back to your guests before you’ve even realised we started.

No stiff posing. No 45 minutes away from your party. Just gentle prompts, quick portraits, and genuine moments.
Whether you’ve spent nights making the signage, your mum created the flowers, or you hunted for the perfect table décor, those things matter. They’re part of your story, just like the big hugs and teary vows. I’ll photograph them with intention, not as filler, but as meaningful pieces of your day.

p.s. this is me on my wedding day holding flowers I made myself!

Not just photos. You get:
A photographer who understands how uncomfortable “posing” can be
A calming presence who knows when to step back and when to help
A gallery full of candid, emotional, personality-filled images
Real memories, not staged ones
A wedding day experience where you don’t feel watched, directed, or rushed
I’ll bring the camera and the kind of direction that doesn’t make you cringe.

Together, we’ll tell your story the way it actually happens, honestly, beautifully, and without making you feel awkward!
