I first met Tiff when we were both booked by Goodwood Revival to shoot some vintage aesthetic content in 2023, we had such a great time going from cars to planes taking photos so when she contacted me to let me know she was getting married, I was so excited to capture her marriage to Lou in spring 2025. Tiff & Lou wanted to have a wedding that bucked traditions and really felt like them so they opted for an intimate registry office ceremony followed by a lovely meal at a favourite local italian restraunt with a few more friends. Tiff wore her Nan's vintage 1956 wedding dress that was incredibly delicate and fit her like a glove, with a petticoat and a corrinet that really completed her vintage look. Lou wore a tailored 40's cream suit with pink accents and the flowers provided by Simon Lycett, RHS Floristry Ambassador & host on Netflix's big flower fight were in pinks and lovely pastels that compliemented the couples overall aesthetic.
This wedding is featured in Rock n Roll bride, and Tiff answered a few questions for them that I couldn't resist sharing today in this love story!

I'd love to capture your special day, Islington Town Hall is a beautiful venue with so many lovely spaces for photos and celebrations including gorgeous staircases, hallways and the main ceremony room is gorgeous with rich red and mahogany tones perfect for luxury vibes on a reasonable budget! On top of all the indoor spaces there are also lovely doors around the corner, an iconic london crossing point and the stairs and doors at the front make a great backdrop for family formals.
I'd love to be your Islington Town Hall wedding photographer, get in touch to chat about how I can help.

Tiffany was asked as part of her Rock n Roll bride interview: 'What was your favourite part of the planning?'
'One of my favourite parts of the whole process was choosing our wedding photographer. We went
with Cat Brant, from the beginning, she completely put me at ease.
...
I knew she’d be perfect for the day, not just because of her talent, but because of her charisma. She
has such a natural way with people, especially those who aren’t confident in front of the camera. Her
ability to gently guide and direct made all the difference.'

I’m so pleased to be able to offer micro wedding coverage from just four hours in central London, perfect for couples planning an intimate celebration or registry office ceremony. My approach is natural and documentary-led, focusing on genuine emotion and fleeting moments rather than posed perfection — though I’ll happily offer as much or as little direction as you need to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Whether you’re saying your vows at Chelsea Old Town Hall, exploring the streets of Mayfair, or celebrating over dinner with your closest friends, I’ll be there to capture it all in a relaxed, timeless way that feels authentically you.
And one last snippet from Tiffany's interview that I think might help you if you're planning a wedding like this!
Is there anything that you did that you think makes your wedding particularly unique, alternative or different?
'We skipped loads of traditions... when we first started planning, we considered what we enjoy most as a couple and how we could incorporate that into our special day.
Our ceremony included 20 of our immediate family and friends, with another 20 joining us later at
a restaurant, where we could all relax, enjoy great music, delicious food, and spend a beautiful evening
surrounded by wonderful people.'

Choosing a photographer who truly knows London makes all the difference. From navigating traffic and tight schedules to knowing which registry offices allow confetti or where to find quiet corners for portraits, local experience is invaluable. I know how to work quickly in busy spaces, use the city’s light to its best advantage, and adapt to the ever-changing London weather. Plus I live within a direct train to central london, understand the tubes and sometimes I drive into London if the location permits.
Whether it’s capturing candid laughter outside Marylebone Town Hall, finding that perfect hidden backdrop in Soho, or chasing golden light along the Thames, being familiar with the area means you spend less time posing and more time enjoying your day. You’ll end up with honest, effortless images that capture not only your story but the true atmosphere of the city you love.
