Cat is wonderful! She did an amazing job both on the day of the wedding and during the engagement shoot. She took so many gorgeous pictures, both posed and candid, during the ceremony and the reception

My name is Cat Brant
Welcome, I'm Cat and I'm a full time wedding photographer living in Fleet, right around the corner from Farnham with my husband and two kids.
Some of my favourite ever venues are in Farnham! From the grand Farnham Castle to the epic Frensham Hall and the stunning Northbrook Park and all the incredible venues in between there's a venue for every couple.
I am a second-generation wedding photographer and I am totally obsessed with photography!
Shall we talk about Northbrook Park? Because I am obsessed with that front elevation. All the cascading foliage, the grandeur of that historic architecture—just imagine the wedding portraits! It’s the kind of backdrop that gives timeless romance, with just the right balance of elegance and wild charm. And when the light catches the courtyard just so? Magic. I’m beyond excited to be photographing there in 2025, and I already know it’s going to be breathtaking.
But honestly, Farnham as a whole is just chef’s kiss when it comes to wedding locations. It’s one of those places that has everything: historic charm, rolling countryside, and venues that feel like they’ve been plucked straight from a storybook.
Take Farnham Castle, for example—absolute fairytale vibes. I mean, who doesn’t want to descend those sweeping steps like royalty? The fireplaces, the stone archways, the little nooks filled with history—it all makes for such an atmospheric and intimate wedding setting. And for photos? The golden-hour light filtering through the castle grounds? Perfection.
And if you’re dreaming of something with a slightly more relaxed, countryside feel, Millbridge Court is another beauty. Think modern meets rustic: floor-to-ceiling windows flooding the space with natural light, a gorgeous arbour for outdoor ceremonies, and the kind of contemporary styling that works beautifully for both classic and more relaxed wedding aesthetics. I’ve seen couples transform the space with everything from wild, overgrown florals to sleek, minimalist décor—it’s so versatile.
Then there’s Cain Manor, tucked away in the Surrey Hills, which gives all the cosy, romantic vibes with its oak beams and countryside setting. If you love the idea of an intimate, tucked-away space that still feels grand and special, this is your spot. The driveway alone sets the tone—winding through trees, opening up to this warm, character-filled house. I can already picture those just-married, we did it moments in the golden fields nearby.
1️⃣ Venue Accessibility & Guest Experience – If you’ve got guests travelling from London or further afield, Northbrook Park and Farnham Castle are fantastic choices with great transport links. But if you’re opting for a countryside venue like Cain Manor, consider organising transport for guests so they can fully enjoy the celebrations without worrying about rural roads.
2️⃣ Seasonal Considerations – Farnham’s venues shine year-round, but if you’re booking an outdoor ceremony at Millbridge Court or Northbrook Park, think about backup plans for the unpredictable British weather. Even in summer, I always suggest having some chic umbrellas to hand (just in case!).
3️⃣ Best Photo Locations – When choosing your venue, imagine where you’ll have your key wedding moments captured. Love that just-married confetti shot? Farnham Castle’s stone steps are perfect. Dreaming of golden-hour portraits? Northbrook Park’s walled gardens and Millbridge Court’s fields glow beautifully at sunset. Thinking about an epic first dance? Cain Manor’s beamed hall makes for a stunning, atmospheric backdrop.
4️⃣ Supplier Flexibility – Some venues, like Northbrook Park, allow outside caterers, while others have in-house teams. If you have your heart set on a particular florist, stylist, or caterer, check the venue’s policies before booking.
5️⃣ Lighting & Atmosphere – If you’re going for a candlelit, moody vibe, Farnham Castle’s grand hall is unbeatable. But if you love bright, airy photos, Millbridge Court’s natural light is a dream. Thinking about an epic party? Check venue sound restrictions—some rural venues have early music cut-offs, while others allow you to party into the night.
Farnham really is the dream for couples looking for a wedding location that’s steeped in beauty, charm, and a little bit of magic. Whether you’re envisioning a grand castle, a light-filled barn, or a stately home with sweeping gardens, there’s a venue here that’s so you. And if you’re anything like me, you’re already picturing exactly where your confetti throw, golden-hour portraits, and dance floor moments will happen.
If you’re planning a Farnham wedding, I’d love to hear all about it—tell me everything! Where are you getting married? What’s your vision? I cannot wait to capture more love stories in this beautiful part of the world. 💛
