Outdoor lovers will adore the walled garden, a romantic and private space that’s perfect for both ceremonies and couple portraits, offering a secluded and picturesque backdrop.


Of course, you’ll have a gorgeous honeymoon suite, and there are exceptional rooms for your guests to choose from too. If you want a bit of pre- or post-wedding relaxation, there’s a tranquil spa to melt away in.


If you’re a foodie, you’ll be pleased to know that their ingredients are carefully sourced, including from local farms and orchards. Each menu is created by the in-house Four Seasons chefs who will cater to your tastes.

As a wedding photographer, one of the things I love about this venue is the variety of backdrops and settings to choose from for wedding photos.


The most recent wedding I had the pleasure of photographing at this venue was Charlotte and Bill’s outdoor wedding. Despite it being in October, the weather was absolutely glorious (after a horrendous downfall in the morning)!


This was a gorgeous ceremony in the walled garden.


With a grand entrance, a huge winding staircase, beautiful gardens, and simply elegant table settings – there are so many opportunities for the perfect shot. Outside, there are some lovely quiet corners ideal for you to take a breather from the crowd and have some couple moments captured. And of course, there’s plenty of space for the big group photos too.

Having a wedding photographer who knows the venue already is ideal – we know where the great lighting is and where the best spots are, so we can just focus on you. Most importantly, the right photographer is going to be the one you get along with best.


I know how uncomfortable people can feel getting their photo taken, and that’s the last thing I want for you on your wedding day. That’s why I take the time to get to know you beforehand, so you feel completely relaxed and at ease in front of the camera with me.

When choosing a wedding photographer, consider their style, experience, portfolio, and reviews from previous clients. It's also important to discuss pricing, availability, and any specific requests you may have.
 
Don't forget to meet with them in person to ensure you have good chemistry and feel comfortable with their approach.

Once you have narrowed down your list of potential wedding photographers, it's a good idea to ask them some key questions to help you make your final decision.

 

Here are a few questions to consider:

  • What is your photography style? Do you prefer a more traditional approach or a more candid, documentary style?

  • Do you have experience with weddings of a similar size and style to mine?

  • Can I see a full gallery of a recent wedding you photographed? This will give you a better sense of their consistency and quality of work.

  • Do you have backup equipment in case something goes wrong on the day of the wedding?

  • How do you handle difficult lighting situations (e.g. low light, harsh sunlight, indoor vs. outdoor)? This will help you gauge their technical expertise.

  • What is included in your packages? Are there any additional fees I should be aware of (e.g. travel, overtime)?

  • How long will it take to receive my photos after the wedding? Will they be edited and retouched?

  • Can you accommodate any special requests I have (e.g. specific shots, family portraits)?

  • How do you ensure that you capture all of the important moments on the day of the wedding?
