Mini Session- Valentine's Boudoir Sessions In January's

Valentines Mini Shoots are 1 hour, held in a small studio in Fleet Hampshire in January's only. 2025 shoots will be booking from November 2024.

Why Choose a Valentine's Themed Boudoir Shoot for a Unique and Personalised Gift?

February 15, Valentines Day again, and what on earth do you get the partner who has everything? Each year I struggle to come up with a perfect gift for my husband. He doesn't appreciate chocolates or flowers and he won't use that head torch I bought him or the tool belt that gathers dust. But I can almost guarantee your partner (and probably mine too!) would love a framed print or a spicy album of you in your underwear. Boudoir sessions are really personalised and we can discuss taking photos of the parts of you we know your partner likes at the best angles in the best light. Got a great bum? I've got poses for that! Got a partner with a penchant for feet? I've got a great pose for that! Valentine's Day minis were in January and will return in January 2024, the set is red on red so we really lean in with lollies, ribbons and hearts while getting those personalised shots that your partner will love!

What Wardrobe Choices Will Elevate Your Valentine's Boudoir Photoshoot?

For this set I asked all my clients to bring either red or black, I am often asked about what to wear and honestly this is so personal because some of my clients have been almost fully dressed in nightgowns and fluffy robes and others in their birthday suit. I think a good middle ground is a full set but whatever makes you feel the most attractive and comfortable is the best choice.

Capturing Intimacy: The Role of a Skilled Photographer in Your Boudoir Session

Choosing the right photographer for Boudoir is so important right? I am proud to run a business that supports women both in business and in empowerment and my whole team is women, on the shoot itself it'll just me and you and I promise you won't feel even a little bit uncomfortable. The first thing we do is just a quick phone call, that helps you get to know me and see if you think you'd feel comfortable with me. When you come for a mini you might not be having hair and makeup so we will spend about 5 minutes going over a few posing basics, talking about your day etc and only when you feel comfortable you take your clothes off!

You might imagine that a boudoir experience is sensual but it's actually really just a lot of fun, giggles and yoga style stretching! (I am always told, it's a workout!) and you'll be concentrating on holding poses, too busy laughing and hopefully having fun to worry about any apprehensions you may have.

Comments

hi! I'm cat and i am a full time wedding photographer
(and a little bit of a photography geek!)

I started taking photos as a teenager, my Dad was a wedding photographer and I would often help him. In 2021 I left my corporate job with a dream and hope that I could make photography a full time job. Since then I have been pouring my heart and soul into this business and have been honoured to be chosen as wedding photographer for so many lovely couples as well as being a portrait and event photographer.
I TAKE CLASSIC, TIMELESS, DOCUMENTARY STYLE PHOTOGRAPHS WITH MINIMAL INTRUSION

But I will step in and offer gentle guidance when it's right to do so, I have learned over the years to read the room, anticipate the next move, hold space when needed and offer support when I can.

aRE YOU LOOKING FOR A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
When choosing a wedding photographer, consider their style, experience, portfolio, and reviews from previous clients. It's also important to discuss pricing, availability, and any specific requests you may have.

Don't forget to meet with them in person to ensure you have good chemistry and feel comfortable with their approach.

Once you have narrowed down your list of potential wedding photographers, it's a good idea to ask them some key questions to help you make your final decision.

Here are a few questions to consider:

  • What is your photography style? Do you prefer a more traditional approach or a more candid, documentary style?

  • Do you have experience with weddings of a similar size and style to mine?

  • Can I see a full gallery of a recent wedding you photographed? This will give you a better sense of their consistency and quality of work.

  • Do you have backup equipment in case something goes wrong on the day of the wedding?

  • How do you handle difficult lighting situations (e.g. low light, harsh sunlight, indoor vs. outdoor)? This will help you gauge their technical expertise.

  • What is included in your packages? Are there any additional fees I should be aware of (e.g. travel, overtime)?

  • How long will it take to receive my photos after the wedding? Will they be edited and retouched?

  • Can you accommodate any special requests I have (e.g. specific shots, family portraits)?

  • How do you ensure that you capture all of the important moments on the day of the wedding?

By asking these questions and having an open and honest conversation with your wedding photographer, you can ensure that you find the right fit for your big day.
