The Blog

Join me every month while I dive into sessions, show examples of my work in more detail and give advice to other aspiring boudoir photographers on my blog.  What can you hope to achieve reading this blog?

An inside look into creative sessions

Each month I try to experiment with at least one session, these are discounted sessions for clients who are happy to share images and if you'd like to be considered for a creative session please do subscribe for updates. These creative sessions usually create amazingly different photographs unlike most boudoir photographers in the UK and I am always striving for a uniqueness that aligns with my clients personality and individuality.

More in-depth full sessions

I also show more in-depth shoots from parties, cake smashes and engagements among other on location and studio portrait sessions for those wishing to see a more in depth look at how their shoots may look and what I can achieve.

Studio Boundaries

The blog is also where you may wish to read my studio boundaries for Boudoir sessions, these boundaries differ from studio to studio and I want to be upfront about these before you enquire incase you are looking to create images with a partner or video footage etc.

Some tips and tricks I've picked up

I love everything about photography, I definitely identify as a bit of a photography nerd! As I buy new kit and experiment I hope to pass on some of the lessons I learn to other photography nerds!

Glo & Co - Luxury Sustainable Candles

I have been trusted by Harriet Bolt Socials for over 12 months now to deliver premium brand imagery and content to her clients. With Harriet I've worked on several projects, this one is a returning client who since last August has produced two new scents in a line of luxury sustainable candles in a clever concrete holder that can be reused and looks so sleek and timeless in any home.

For this years project I was tasked with providing a set of matching lifestyle product images that I took in 2022 which in itself has a few small challenges such as finding the same props!

I also had the task of shooting a new product video that showcased the new and existing scents available.

Here's the video I shot with Harriet appearing in the video for a little human interest. Keeping these videos concise but aesthetic is important as is making it interesting to watch (which is little more of a challenge with something fairly basic like a candle!) but I love a challenge.

These images are to be used on Amazon so they need to be 1:1 format (a square!) and this is kept in mind while shooting.

I was thrilled our client was please with his product update shoot and was able to get his new scents up and running as soon as possible with total turn around from enquiry to delivery being just 2 weeks.

I have now shot products for all sorts from block white backdrops for Amazon to lifestyle for instagram and content for socials. I am always happy to discuss prices and set design. I have a few location houses perfect for product photography on my books so can reduce customer cost in building custom sets.
